1977.

the artist.

cm.1980
Printed and published by Georges Visat in Paris.
In Hom'mère – L'Ergonaute, Matta draws inspiration from the Greek myth of Jason and the
Argonauts, using this epic journey to craft a biographical poem that also addresses
contemporary social issues.
The artworks feature linear vibrations and anthropomorphic figures within textured, colorful
spaces filled with transparencies, suggesting multiple simultaneous locations.
